GMF sponsored the Patel Conservatory’s Rock School Blowout on December 1, 2012 at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Former Executive Director, Ty Rodriguez, was the Master of Ceremonies for the Patel Conservatory’s Rock School Blowout. Eight bands comprised of budding rock stars ages 6-13 blew the roof off the Straz. Parker and Matthew of the band Wasted Youth received GMF scholarships.
