Clowning Around is excited to present the most recent addition to our family of entertainers; Silly Sam the Music Man. This original music show is perfect for preschool and kindergarten age children. His songs combine education and entertainment with bouncy rhythms and catchy melodies. This show has been viewed and approved by the Hillsborough County Council of the Arts, and has been performing in Hillsborough County Public Schools. Your kids will be on their feet laughing, singing, dancing and learning.
Silly Sam has designed a fully interactive performance, bringing the children front and center. They will be introduced to the fundamentals of rhythm by playing musical games and learning to use different percussion instruments. Utilizing their memory skills they will learn choruses and sing along with Sam’s silly songs. There is even a little magic to help learn the colors of the rainbow.
Silly Sam is performed by Eric Halvorsen, who has designed his show incorporating 15 years of experience working with children. He directed a daycare in Virginia for 8 years and has owned Clowning Around for the last 7. He also worked for the Mendez Foundation for 3 years also performing in Hillsborough County Elementary schools. He is excited to share his love of music with the Tampa Area.
